Queen of Tarts wall hanging coral Always colorwayQueen of Tarts is a modern twist on a classic quilt pattern. I chose to showcase bright eclectic fabrics against a charcoal gray background for maximum contrast of light and dark. The quilt features many Tula Pink fabrics, including Queen Elizabeth. It is all free hand quilted on my longarm sewing machine. I used many different types and colors of thread throughout the quilt. The Queen portraits are finished with a trapunto technique.
